Argentine Patagonia

While not taking anything away from the Chilean side of the Patagonia, we still find it worth mentioning that Argentine Patagonia’s sweeping landscapes led no less than Darwin to describe the region as “boundless”. Villages touching snow-clad mountain peaks, whales gliding through Peninsula Valdes marine wildlife sanctuary, deserts extending into rugged estancias (cattle-ranges) and melting glaciers, and the Chilean border at Cape Hom touching Antartica’s snowy edges – all these are part of the Patagonian landscape.
Natural wonders like Periot Moreno Glacier and Mount Fitz Roy and historical wonders like the Cave of Hands add to the splendor of the region.
