The sea breeze will easily embrace you, walk you through all the unknown lands of the place and then let you go back home with something in your soul that will make you want to come back again and again …

Your days can start with a rich meal, with the goodies of the place. The Barbados cuisine blends traditions from Spain, England, Africa, France and several other nations.

Barbados

“Coucou” is one of the most favorite dishes, it is a pudding of okra and corn. Other traditional dishes are “The flying fish” and “Pepperpot”, which is some kind of pork stew. An irresistible dessert you can taste is the coconut pane. We can suggest locals like “Waterfront Café” or “The Cliff”, but there are many others you can try.

Other interesting activities for tourists are the local festivals. The biggest festival, Holetown, takes place in February, and they organize street fairs, musical events and beauty contests. We also recommend music festivals, such as “Celtic and Gospelfest” and “Cropover”, which are celebrated in May and July.

St. John’s Parish Church

This beautiful church is located in the most romantic area of Barbados.  It has an amazing view and its Gothic architecture will stun you. Constructed in 1645 the church burnt down 1660 and it had to be reconstructed.  Since then the church has been destroyed by hurricanes several times.  If you go to Barbados, don’t miss this beautiful church!.

Barbados

Being an important historic center, the island of Barbados is one of the oldest cities in the Caribbean. Did you know that it was created by colliding the Atlantic crustal with the Caribbean plates, to which it is also added a volcanic eruption? In terms of geology, it is actually unique, because it is the product of two unified land masses.

The identity of this place is a mosaic, with deep roots in English, African and West Indian cultures. All this is noticed in people’s traditions and the beauty of the location, which were developed in almost one million years.

Due to the beauty and the rich history of Barbados, your vacation does not have to be the same as any other. You can come here to lose yourself and find yourself again, because of its sophistication, charm and perfection.
